Enclosed shower?

when i build my shower, i have the ascendancy of creating the opening the path i desire. the problem is is don't know what is best. i am planing on putting in a cup door, but what about above the door? should i frame out a doorway (a 28" x 80" initial with a 5' elevated glass door) or newly have it unfurl from the top of the glass door to the ceiling? what are the advantages of both, or disadvantages? i love the look of a somewhat sheltered shower, like such: http://www.cruisereviews.com/SilverseaCr...
but is it practical as okay as asthetic?

Answers:    My shower isn't closed and I gotta say it bothers the hell out of me. We certainly jimmy-rigged it with some sheet plastic to block bad the opening because we considered necessary to keep the steam surrounded by.

Besides, a completely enclosed shower done right almost other looks far better integrated in the bathroom
Speaking from experience....you should drywall and tile above the chalice door. On the outside, it will be drywall, on the inside it will be tile. I have one specifically tile all around the shower stall AND on the ceiling. I hold 2 shower head also..which is nice... ;-). Don't do cup door to the ceiling. Do a nice bi-swing glass door.
