Because the church officers are greedy and they want to have the best looking church in the area. It is all politics.
God requests that we give ten per cent and an offering is above that. Can people be helped if the money is not there?
Can the poor be fed?
Can airtime be purchased?
Can Bibles be purchased?
God set up the system to see who is apart of the problem and who is part of the promise
God forgives if we dont and forgives if we ask him

Tithing. The bible states that we need to. To take care of the poor, the church itself. The money is supposed to go to them, thats not always the case but thats what its meant for.

bcuz if i dont give an offering, how can the priests eat?and how can they pay the electric bills...etc...
Things dont pay for themselves.
Because I want to be a "sower of financial" seed into God's kingdom work.
Jesus said "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21
By giving an offering at the church I attend I'm using the resources God has given me to invest in things that have eternal value instead of things that will soon disappear.
