i want to split my internet connection contained by my house i already have a cable run to one expire of the house to the other. the cable has a coupler surrounded by the middle of it so my plan was to split the rope at that point and run one into one room and the other into the other room.
Answers: Don't use a "splitter" - ethernet is fickle about electrical system. Use an ethernet switch to get the best observation.
That's what a router or switch is used for. I don't know of any other way to do it, but you simply plug the chief cable into the connection which is by itself (might enunciate internet or something similar) and plug the cables principal to your rooms into the connectors which are grouped together (usually numbered 1-4). It's quick, unforced, and since the house is hard-wired very inexpensive.
