I was 28
old enough that you are physically, mentally and emotionally ready. Ready to be selfless and put your all to your children.
It depends entirely on the maturity of the individual, but I have to say I love the category you put this in.
you should be at least 25!
at least over 23. make sure your stable first, thats what it should depend on.
IMHO, people should wait until age 25. So much changes with people between the ages of 18 and 25, how can you possibly know that's what you want? But, people should just wait until they are financially stable and mature enough to raise a baby.
It isn't a matter of age in years. It is a matter of emotional, psychological, and financial security. If you can't take care of yourself, you won't be able to take care of someone else. A child requires more than love. It requires diapers, food, shelter, clothing, medicine, opportunities in life, and a support structure in case mom/dad isn't around anymore.
old enough to be able to handle the responsibility. financial , emotional should i continue.
its not a question of age(within reason), its more to do with maturity and financial and emotional stability.
as old as u whant realy, but if ur smart u'll w8 until ur mentaly, phisicly and emotionaly ready
im 13 and about to be a mom
Hopefully married and finished with school (I would say no earlier than 26). However, the longer you wait as a woman, the more susceptible you may be (this is not true for everyone) to having problems conceiving.
It is a huge responsibility to have a child, financially and otherwise.
At least 21 for child's good health.
there is no specific age to have a child. When you think you are ready, then that is probably the right time. (and under the right circumstances)
Old enough to be able to take care of it well, I'd say around 20-30 would be a good time.
It depends on your maturity level, and financial situation, etc. In some cultures, children work hard and become quite mature at a young age, whereas in most modern cultures, they do not really become mature until 18 or so. I think it is best in my culture (America) if she is say from 27 to 35, has a steady income and settled life.
if your too young your body hasn't physically matured enough. most people say to have one in your 20's. also wait till its with the right person.
MARRIED! Other than that, you can, physically have a child when you get your first period. That does NOT mean that you are emotionally ready to have one. I had my first at 19 & my second at 23. I was much more ready to be a Mom at 23 than I was at 19.
To Start Haveing Kids In Your 20s Some People Start Haveing Kids When There 16.
In my opinion, 35. At 35 you have done a lot of living and experienced alot of things, so you are ready to settle down. Also at that age you are alot more stable, financially, mentally, and in your relationship.
I think it is a shame that anyone under that age loses their young adulthood to child rearing. There is so much more to life than reproduction.
I think Britney Spears should be ashamed of herself for the example she is setting to young girls.
Come on women - lets have some respect for ourselves, we aren't baby factories!
when your body's ready
and you are financially stable
and you are mentally ready
and finsh taking some parental psychology and developmental psychology
=)
Whatever age you are when you become a mature, responsible, adult. It varies from person to person. And sometimes people surprise you, they mature quickly after having a child, and some people surprise you in bad ways. Really just depends on the person, or people involved, and their situation.
after you are married is when
Old enough to be responsible and be able to take care of the child yourself. If the thought of canceling your social life in order to take care of a child angers or scares you, you're not ready yet.
I am not sure age is the issue, to have a child you should be able to support them with out having to go on public assistance. So as long as some one is adult enough to have a good job and keep it and a decent place to live they are old enough to have a child
NEVER
Before you even consider having a child.take peanut butter and spread it all the couch, then wet your hands and dip them potting soil and add that to it. Next, spread lego's all the floor and see how many times you step on them without swearing (at least not out loud). After that get a tape of the Wiggles (or some other show that kids seem to love) and continue to play it over and over and over. When you can do all of that on one day and not lose your mind - then you may be old enough!!
20 to 40 years old
