Central Air, Air Condition Troubles?

hello, I'm having a central air , air condition trouble.
When I turn the thermostat too cool, the fan turns on, the outside condensor spins the fan, so everything turns on.

Problem is no cold air out of the vents in the house.

I went to check the condensor while it was running, INstead of blowing out warm air, it is blowing out cool air.

Any Ideas?

This will probably need the attention of an expert mechanic that can look at your AC unit and fix the problem. Unless you know what you are doing, this isnt a home fix self do operation.

Other answers:
sounds like a possible freon leak,in the condensor, evaporator or lines.find the schrader valve and
just push in on it real quickly and see if it has any pressure at all.

Sounds like you don't have enough freon in your air conditioner. Perhaps you have a leak somewhere or it just needs to be recharged. You will need an HVAC technician to do that.
1: YOUR COMPRESSOR IS NOT RUNNING, OR 2: IT MAY BE RUNNING BUT THERE IS NO FREON IN IT. LOTS OF POSSIBILITIES FOR WHAT TO DO. IF YOU DETERMINE IT IS OUT OF FREON, YOU CANNOT BUY IT WITHOUT A CERTIFICATION AND SOMETIMES A LICENSE SO YOU WOULD NEED A SERVICE TECH TO REPAIR THE LEAK AND RECHARGE IT WITH FREON. IF THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT RUNNING IT WOULD BE ANY NUMBER OF THINGS AND USUALLY YOU NEED A MULTIMETER AND SOME KNOWLEDGE OF A/C AND ELECTRICAL. DO SOME MORE LOOKING AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON AND YOU MAY GET THE ANSWER HERE. BE CAREFUL. GET HELP.
yes call an a/c man ,ur lines one should be hot and one should be cold
even if the outside condesor fan is running it doesnt always mean that the compressor is running. there are several reasons that it is not working the most common being that it is low on freon, it could also be a power problem where there is not enough voltage getting to the unit, most require 220 volts the fan being only 110. if the fan is putting out cool air it isnt taking any heat out of the system. as far as the 2 lines go the small one, high pressure should be hot to touch and the larger one, low pressure should be cold. the schader vavle is located where these 2 lines enter into your outside condensing unit
Go to the fuse box and make sure that your two breakers (should be a bar between them) are in the "on" position. (It may have been tripped).

Now, check the furnace and see if there is ice in the top of it..(its where the coils are, and a lot of times you can open a vent that should be on there and see them, or, take out a few screws and see if there is frost on there or ice.

Not having a hot line, I am betting your compressor is on....

After this, is done, then call a service man.

If you have no frost or ice on the coils, then your freon is not low. No heat on the line tells me that the compressor isnt running..hmmm

Either way, you cant do anything about it,except check the breaker...

I wish you well..

Sounds like maybe the freon level is low. Get someone who has a three gauge manifold to check pressures. Good-luck
