I need a curtain pattern..any free ones online?
Answers:
I happen to know that Joanns will have simplicity patterns on sale for $1 in about 2 weeks. That is not free but it is not bad.

Curtains are probably the easiest household item to make. Measure your windows, and allow for 3" underhang, and 5" for the seams. Use the whole width of the 30" wide fabric, it makes for nice draping, and the selvage looks fine. Saves side seams!
Put in a 1" straight hem on the bottom. On the top, fold over 1/2", then fold again 4". Sew the hem at the first folded edge, then sew a seam down the middle of the 4" section. This gives you the opening to run your curtain rod down, with a 2" ruffle.
