The question should be rephrased: 'Is it normal to bathe in gasoline?'
Maybe you could try diesel fuel.
No, this is not normal. Try using kerosene, it's much better for your skin.
Not recommended. Gasoline is a pet ether, that can be absorbed into the skin, especially when used on large areas. The effects can be the same as drinking it. It does cause brain damage, damage to the liver, and other serious problems. Go to a Hazardous Materials site. Look for the MSDS, or Materials Safety Data Sheet. It will tell you the properties of gasoline UN1243, how flammable it is. What are the dangers of exposure, and medical treatment. I guarantee if you do this, you will not bathe in Gas again.
If you want an easy answer, call the National Poison control center in Atlanta, GA ! 800 222 1222. They will give you advice.
Did you find gas when you dug your holes? Why don't you share it with everyone? I can hardly afford to drive with it, but you are bathing in it so either you found some or you hit the lottery.
I think it is normal to sting but I would call the local gas station and/or the company to be sure. You may want to consult Dr.Billy Bob.
try mud ,it's a lot cheaper.and believe me it cleans better than gasoline.
Set it on fire, after application. I promise you that STING will be the least of your concerns.
