i try furniture polish to remove a stain off of my table with no luck help?

Not knowing what type of table you have makes it hard to help you.

If it is wood & the stain has lightened the wood rub some Old English on it and the stain will dissapear.

The other thing you can try is Murphy's Oil Soap. Put some on a rag & rub it well.

Furniture polish really isn't designed to remove stains.
