I bought this unit less then 2 years ago, it worked fine till 3 weeks ago, the unit does not come on at all, i checked a number of things out, the fuse, cord, compressor, capacitor, fill switch, but still i have nothing here. The unit is completely dead with no fill light or anything, i hope someone can help me out here, i dont want to buy another unit, and Sears wants too much money to fix this piece of garbage. You listed a number of items tried in vane however did you try the a different outlet. Homeowner refrigerant dehus in a word are cheap and seldom worth having repaired regardless of who does the work. Check the line to make sure that it is not protected by a GFCI outlet. If there is a GFCI make sure to reset it and plug the dehu back in to check its operation.
