how do u repair stuck shower stall door on bottom? Not sliding door...help!!?
Answers:
It is probabale that the hinge of the door is wore out and the door is sagging due to the weight. Typically you cannot get replacement parts to repair a shower door for a variety of reasons. The life exptency of a low to mid range shower door is only about 8 to 12 years.
You can try to remove the screws along the hinge side inside the shower where it is attatched to the wall channel, lift the door up off of the bottom sill as to change the angle and re-install the door in a slightly different position. It will probably be a little stuck due to minerals, silicone and etching of the aluminum.
Probably won't last very long but it's worth a shot. I encounter this all the time in my business and usually end up replacing the whole inclosure,

maybe silicone spray when dry, or if it's soap scum buildup, maybe peanutbutter and rinse thoroughly with hot water?
or check the library for a book called heloise..she's the household cleaning whiz?
just stuck, no buildup silicone spray when dry

Check the hinge and screws to make sure nothing is loose or broke. If the screws get loose, the heads can keep the door from closing tightly. If the hinge is breaking, it can make it rub at the top on the side of the door or rub on the bottom corner opposite the hinge. Hope this helps.
Make sure the rollers are in the proper place at the top. The bottom should be free swinging.
