Spiders!!?

I have recently moved into a new house and have noticed alot of spiders. There are wolf spiders and those little clearish gray ones. I am terrified of them and need to know how to get rid of them on my own.

Answers:
Unless your certain that the spiders are harmful to humans, allow them to co-habit with you. The sprays that you'd use to kill them would likely be more harmful to yourself as many insect sprays are neuro-toxic. An added benefit of rooming with spiders is that they will prey on bugs that damage building materials and clothing.
If the spiders are those that are venomous, then you could consider a natural alternative to pest control by inviting house centipedes to room with you temporarily, until the spiders decide to move out.
House centipedes prey on roaches AND spiders. Contact "em" through this forum, as he is having issues ridding his house of centipedes. He may be willing to ship some to you.
Lastly, you might also consider phobia extinction therapy through a qualified mental health professional in your area. It would benefit you, and the environment!
Best of luck.

You need to get a boot or shoe and kill them.

Insectiside...spray and they die. Spray it around the perimeter of your house to prevent them from coming in.

samuri swords to the death
Hairspray.
Watch the wolf spiders, semi dangerous and definitely aggressive.hence the name. Other than that, check at a hardware store for a few bombs to kill the lil guys.
GO TO A STORE AND GET FLIPPIN BUG KILLER OR SPRAY!

i have no clue i think u should just hire an exterminator
bug spray all the way! nock them out of ur house its not theres it urs! u dominate!!
Vaccuum the house, change a.c./heat filters. Spiders like dusty places and debris to breed & hide.
I agree get smoke bombs and kill them...I'm with you on the whole hating spiders thing..Thought it is quite funny to see my brother-in-law dance around when he sees one I don't want the things near me.
Hire an exterminator. Spiders freak me out and if I have to pay for them to get killed then so be it. Some are poisonus too.
If you have the money, I would suggest an exterminator. Odds are that the buggers are (don't get scared) in the walls, and an exterminator will take care of this for you. That is what I would do.

If you don't have the money, go with the spray.
raid
i know do you happen to live in new mexico cause thats here i live and those are common spider here. The weird gray clearish ones are called "child of the earth"cause they have big eye and they squeel.I say just spry evey corner, bottom of wall where carpet is,crack window seal, and entey, of your house with bugg spray.Do this at least evey three monthes. It works real good
I'm with you on hating spiders! The good news is that it doesn't sound like you're stuck with the deadly ones.

There are typically two ways to go about this: do-it-yourself bug bombs or calling a pest control professional. Bug bombs are cheap and easy, but they do not always yield the best results. Professional pest control companies are more expensive, but they will cut you a break on the price if you sign up for a regular (usually quarterly) maintenance program, and the better companies guarantee results.

Additionally, dark and damp places are breeding grounds for spiders. Try to minimize any clutter (especially in the garage). Also, spiders don't live where there is no food, so if you get rid of the other bugs as well, your spider problem should improve.
AHHH! Get outtathe house!, get a can of bug spray and spray it all in each individul room in the house, closee up all the windows and spray the rooms.
call an exterminator. He'll be able to find where they are coming from and where they are living in the house. He'll also be able to kill them for you.
Wolf spiders live outside in the grass and around the base of your house. I have them too, I put plain Borex that you can purchase at your local store around the base of the house and the bottom of all the doors it controls them and the bugs that they feed on. good luck
Once again, use the natural approach. Put out a couple hummingbird feeders. Hummers get energy from sugar water, but they get protein from eating spiders! They will decimate your spider population in short order. (They also use bits of spider webs to build their nests!) You also have the added advantage of being able to watch the hummers play. Unless you are terrified of them, too, of course.
If you have a hoover, then use that. That way you don't have to get too near them and it should be powerful enough to suck the nasty things up.
