Anyone ever use Nu-Gro Turf Fertilizer (28-4-10) on Lawn?

I saw this really huge bag of grass fertilizer called Nu-Gro Turf Fertilier with the values 28-4-10. I have used Scotts Turf Builder (29-4-3) but find that their bags are too small in relation to their cost and want to try another brand.

Can someone tell me if this Nu-Gro brand is any good for lawns? Has anyone tried it?

Answers:
nu-gro is probably the store brand ferilizer... i work at lowes and am constantly working on my lawn to make it better.. and we sell two main fertilizers... Tru-green and Scotts... tru-green is the lowes brand fertilizer... the differnce between the two at my store is that scotts is all one color...an off white..and the tru-green has diffferent color granules... the reason is that the differnt color of granules is a differnt type of fertilizer.. although it looks cool. scotts is better b/c they combine all three components into one granule..therefore when a granule hits the ground your getting all three components not just one... if you still want to buy scotts.. try finding a busted bag at the store and try to get a discount on it... we sell our busted bags no matter how full for 1/2 off..

hope this helps...
