Is it possible to install a pool liner in an above ground pool without the wrinkles and creases?
Answers:
if you are installing the pool new...or just got one and ready to set up you should have a layer of sand under the liner. I walked around in the pool with no shoes on to feel any creases...it was very cold water but I stepped out the creases and divits when they were still able to be moved...with only about six inches of water in the pool.
Once it felt smooth I added more water and checked again...all was ok then. Once you have the pool full of water it is nearly impossible to my knowledge to get the creases out.
Other answers:
Normally, the liner will stretch to smooth when water is added. If you still have wrinkles and creases, you must be doing something wrong.

Yes. I know its possible, but Im not sure how. A good friend of mine had a beautiful aboveground pool, and the lining was free of wrinkles.
Yes there is but it takes a little time. But it works well and you can get a tan at the same time! Use clothes pins on the liner to hold it on. You want a few people to do this. As the pool fills you push toward the wall to get it taut. Here is the tricky part. As you push it taut against the side of the pool you will have extra liner that will need to be pushed up and over the side of the pool, so you will have to be constantly taking off the clothes pins to pull the extra liner out to ensure it is taut. I know it sounds complicated but it is actually very easy. It just takes some time, so get some wine, invite a few friends or family members, and make a celebration out of it. It doesn't make it seem like work that way! Hope that helps!
Ditto, with "Trader"'s answer. But I guess, if you wanted to experiment a little, you can use a wet vac, using only the suction to slowly suck out the wrinkles and creases as you install it. I never tried this myself, it is only an idea. Good Luck
yes, but then you may want to do it yourself or observe as your services are being done
