Anybody have Tips on building a wall rack for a surfboard or wakeboard?

It needs to hold at least 15 lbs.

Answers:
Use ropes and pulleys. Anchor two pulley in the cieling next to the wall and use a rope with two hoops on either end to hold the end of the boards. You can then raise and lower the board up to the cieling and back down. Check out similar setups for canoes and bikes from a sporting goods store. They are pretty easy to make if you can look at one first.

Other answers:
I would cut it in half..get 4 L brackets. Find the studs in the wall and space the brackets to where each was on a stud. Drill small holes in the surboard pieces and screw to the L brackets. You would then have 2 shelves. Also depending on the size you need you could cut them length or width wise.
