Please help me keep wood from sliding on the carpet?

My daughter has this rocking pony that she can ride on. The feet or legs are wood though and whenever she rides it it slides on the carpet. Does anyone know a type of material I might be able to put on the bottom of the wood to keep it from sliding? Thank you in advance for your help!

Answers:
Glue some velcro to the bottom of the rocking bar . She will have to push harder to get it up but it will have less of a chance of scooting across the floor and if she is anything like my girls the velcro will not slow her down a bit

Other answers:
Go to DOT's or some other place you get Sewing Supplies, and get some of those velcro strips that is stick on one side, so you can mount it on the bottom of the horse, and it will "grab" on the rug and not move...

I wish you well..

You might try a thin strip of self adhesive weather-stripping on the bottom of the feet.
You could cut up some of that rubber stuff that people put in the bottom of their kitchen cabinets and glue it to the bottom.
I don't actually know the name of this stuff, but it is used for closure( takes place of the zipper) on back packs, luggage etc.
I have super glued it on the bottom of my gran mom's house
slippers because she has fallen several times. It is available at
wal mart and not expensive. I am sure it would work well for you.
