Where does one start papering room from?
Answers: Depends on the paper. Does it own a pattern or not. If it does, plan where on earth you would you loose the repeat, and centre of fireplace as a start.
No shape, start at door casings, one side of windowpane etc.. to avoid fewer long cuts and when you acquire to corner, the opposite side of the strip might do elsewhere.
Added : The bloke below is a DIY'er. Why start surrounded by the middle of a wall if, say, the door crust is plumb????? If you went from the crust, you'll only hold to do one long cut in the corner.
Also, the stencil should be continued RIGHT ROUND the room and lost in one corner.

someone once told me to start from hinge side of door,but strongly recommend using a plumb line first to be sure of getting a straight start.If the first piece is not straight the rest will be a problem especially if papering contained by an old house.Also resign from at least 3or 4inches at top & bottom when adjectives paper as this will allow for manouvering into place,measure pattern to guage this will also backing,most papers have in the region of a 12inch pattern,even the simple or nearly plain ones.Good luck!
If you are using bin liner paper after the correct way to daily is across the wall and not up and down. Start at the top and work your way down.
If you are papering vertically start within the middle of the wall and work out to the corners.
If you consider that you will get some overlaps, next best to start from left side of door. That path they won't be visible when you enter the room.
If you doing a lounge next to a Chimney breast etc, in the room,start here first because that will be your principal focal point of the room.
Mark the centre of the wall by using a plumb column or spirit level and place your first piece of treatise in the middle of the wall .
Then work outwards to the corners.
Try and choose a composition with a low stencil loss if u can to save money,it will explain this on the wrapper .
And end but not least "Don,t sway it upside down "

I don't believe adjectives the answers so far! You start from the centre of respectively wall and work out towards the corners. Mark the centre of the wall beside a plumb bob line to take home sure you have the tabloid vertical. Position your first piece of paper centrally over the rank and away you go. Remember to broadsheet the inside of any windows first disappearing a small overlap (1/2") onto the wall. Any pattern join are then lost surrounded by the corners. Where is everyone else coming from?
And to confuse you even more:
When wallpapering you start from the side of the room where on earth the window is: that agency, if you choose to let the wallpaper overlap, the pale will not create a shadow line on your wall (which would evolve if you started wallpapering from the "dark side" of the room).
Of course, when the room have windows on both sides, you will hold to start in the middle...
Anywhere except the ceiling....dont do that its a bit tricky.
