The pump motor should have an electrical wire with a plug already on it. All you need to do is install a GFCI outlet, under the tub, to plug into.
A GFCI outlet runs about $15, give or take... In the event that water makes contact with the electrical system of the pump, the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt) outelt will immediately shut off the electric...this could save a life, don't stint on it because its a few dollars more than a regular outlet.
Most tub spas run off of 110 volt power source... so.. you need to run, from a new breaker in your circuit box, a wire to under the tub, and put that GFCI outlet on it. The wire you use should be a 12/2 with ground, rated for 600v... this is commonly called "Romex", a popular brand name of this type of wire. You can purchase this wire at a local hardware or building supply store, for about $90/roll of 250ft...depending on how far away you are from the gulf states.... (it most likely still costs more down there.) The spa should be on its own circuit, which is why I said it needs to be run from a new breaker.
An electrician could probably run this for you in less than an hour. I seriously advise that you call one, if youve never run an electrical outlet before....to a spa isnt the time to make a mistake.
