I want to decorate a bathroom mirror with ceramic tile - is it possible?

I don't want to frame the mirror - I actually want to adhere ceramic tile to the mirrors outer edge.

Answers:
If you are working with a glass surface check the tile adhesive to make sure it will adhere to non-porous surfaces. I found this on ehow.com. You can glue the the tile directly to the mirror if you have a glue that is specifically for non-textured surfaces. Also I would recommend smaller tiles as larger tiles can cause a significant amount of weight and may damage your mirror.

Yes. You can get the adhesive at any tile store or big box hardware store.

Absolutely. Be sure to use wall tiles rather than floor tiles. Use a good construction adhesive such as Liquid Nails made for ceramic, or, surprisingly enough, hot glue works quite well for this. Be sure to clean and dry both surfaces well before you begin.
