I enjoy an outmoded wooden dresser specifically painted white, how do I remove the paint and restore the piece?
Answers: You can strip the paint off of the dresser yourself.
What you'll need-
*a ventilate work area
*chemical gloves
*protective eyewear
*respirator
*"Strip-ease" or similar product at Home Depot
*Metal putty blade or scrapper of some kind
*Some saw dust-hand fulls of this rubbed into the edges help remove the Stripe-ease and bulit up paint gunk from hard to attain into edges. Purchase at feed and core stores for cheap!
*long sleve shirt -cause the strip-ease will sting your skin
*empty paint (also at Home Depot) can to dispose of waste.
Just follow the instructions on the backbone of the "strip-ease" Good luck!

If you hold a spot to work outdoors, you can strip the paint to get down to the finish.
Go to a home amendment store and buy some good ability paint stripper. Also get some gloves that will not be disolved by the stripper. You will want a rope brush, some steel wool, a china bristle paint brush (for daubing on the stripper) a metal container or two, some daily towels or rags, a drop cloth.
Brush on the the stripper and maintain the spot wet while the stripper works to verbs the paint. Do a small area at a time and be lenient. Once the paint has lift and bubbled, you scrape it next to the paint scraper to remove as much as you can. It may take a few trys, but you can achieve it all stale. Use the wire brush for small detailed areas. You can bring back small wire brushes at an auto parts store.
Work surrounded by the open to avoid a problems beside the fumes and wear protective eyewear and clothing. The stripper will burn your skin.
go catch a propane blow torch from the diy store light the entity aplly the heat monitor the paint bubble then scratch of with a scraper.you will own it done in no time at adjectives,but doent apply to much heat as not to burn the wood,i tried this and it works on any wood painted things similar to door frame,s doors ect ect.then sand down and move out natrual or stain .or bees wax to seal the wood
