This is the matrix. Just see past the illusion and yank it out.

Get a jackhammer :)
Your going to have to do a lot of digging, or cut the post off at ground level with a saws-all. Hope this helps.
cut it off flush with the concrete and leave it there
cut the post, then use a chizel and a hammer to either dig out the wood, or just use the chizel to pound out the cement. It should work, You could just use a jack hammer, its gonna straine your hands though. Good luck
If you own a tractor with a front end loader you can tie a chain around it and pull it out but, if you don't own a tractor, hook a chain up to your truck and tie it to the post
Hopefully it is not cemented in too far. You are going to need to dig around it until you see the bottom. That might be alot of digging. If the cement isn't to big of a piece, you might be able to pull it out of the ground. You might need your buddies to help if it is too big. Or in my case when I was digging around a cement piece that used to be attached to an antenna tower, the cement was 16 inches across and 3 feet deep, I dug out next to the cement and laid it on it's side and buried it. Put the dirt back in and voila, no cement.
you need to dig around it to loosen the cement. then you can drill a hole through the post and insert a dowel or steel pipe for leverage. a jack or lever system may help to loosen it. then grab the pipe and pull it out.
Tie a chain around it use a car jack to jack it out no digging no broke chains just coon azz enginuity.
Start digging around the cement . then try to get the post close to the ground and push the cement up . Get the sledge hammer and crack the cement into pieces oh ya wet the ground first
There is a lesson here for everyone. Don't cement posts into the ground. Use pea gravel to fill the hole rather than concrete. It will do just as good a job as the concrete.
I know many don't think this is true but I have done it many times and it works great. Not only does it make the post easier to remove but there is no need to mix concrete.

It is possible to remove the post and leave the concrete in place,
especially if the post has rotted.
I did it by cutting the post at ground level then using a hammer and chisel to cut up the part of the post which was in the concrete. You could use a power drill too.
This way means you can put a new post back in the same concrete if you want. Or just forget the concrete is there.

I always use a high lift jack with a chain around it. The truck bumper dont always work cuz either you cant get to it or the post breaks. Wrap a chain around the post and jack it straight up out of the ground. In case you didt know a high lift is the red jacks you see on the back of 4 wheeler jeeps and stuff. I suppose you could use a floor jack if the the situation allowed. good luck. B)
Cut the post off at the ground. Drill a 3/8" hole about 4 inches deep into part of the post still in the ground. Thread a 1/2" hook (for fenceposts) into this hole, as far in as you can. If you have access to an engine cherry picker, use this to pull the concrete blob out of the ground; if not, call a tow truck and get him to hook up his winch to your hook and pull it out.
dig around the cement to loosen up the soil then either pull it out from above or if that isn't possible try cutting the post off at ground level and then digging out the remaining portion
