De-soldering braid freshly wouldnt consent to step of my chip-it stick on to it?

i have kept heat up the braid but it still wouldnt let move about of my chip, it just stuck to it

Answers:    your not using adequate heat , when hot adequate solder will melt and braid will simply come away from chip , the trick is not to use too much steam to damage the chip
You're not supposed to warmth up the braid-heat the solder then touch the braid to the melt solder and it will wick up the braid. You may need to do this a couple of times for the chip to be desoldered.
