Blow-in Cellulose insulation?

My 35 yr old home is not properly insulated. I have heard about blow in insulation. Is something I can myslef or do I need a handyman to do this job?

Answers:
you can do it yourself with the right equipment. You will need some assistance though. You need to watch and make sure it is spread evenly throughout though. kinda easy but a little dusty, wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) i.e.. dust mask and maybe some long sleeves

Word of caution-my sister had this done, they have some kind of whole-house attic fan and when they use it the little pieces of insulation sneak in from teeny tiny spaces. you can do it yourself if you can handle the machine in limited space that might be rather hot and steamy this time of year.
