best material for a pillow (comfort) and best material for a blanket (again, comfort)??

i'm looking to make a pillow out of the most comfortable material possible, and or a blanket out of the most comfortable material out there as well, if there is any ideas on how to do this or what to use, shoot i'm open to all ideas..

Answers:
pillow; mixture of goose down and duck feather, its soft but firm. I'd use an Egyptian cotton pillow case. For the blanket, the best has got to be cashmere but that would be horribly expensive. If on a budget, try lambswool.

Hmm..egyptian cotton? I dont know I heard that was really soft.

Try down feathers and bamboo. Bamboo fabric has a great feel to it. Good luck
