When you don't enjoy a "hammer" to droop a picture...what else can I use?
Answers: lol...I enjoy seen a phone, a can, a hardbound book, and the ends of hairbrushes, wrenches and screwdrivers used (time consuming, not tremendously safe and I wouldn't recommend it, even next to eye protection). That said, while they were "desperate" at the time, it be much easier with a tack hammer and they don't cost very much, or you could probably borrow one from a friend, domestic or neighbor.

Brick, piece of wood, and old rugged cover book
Certainly any or all of the three you suggest and possibly too
The back side of a spoon, a feel of a kitchen knife; a flash buoyant; a rock; brick; pipe; etc. etc., anything you can control at the same time you control the pin or whatever is used to eventually sway a picture.
With all due respect I hold to "wonder why the Q?"
Shoe was what I have in mind. You don't enjoy a meat tenderizer in the kitchen?
drill and a screw.
the other lapse of a screwdriver would work good
or anything kinda cumbersome that you can get some momentum losing and drive the nail
Find a brick or a rock, or something close to that. Also. you could hang it using a screw; although perchance you don't own a screwdriver either!
