I am have a Sewage back-up; isn't here a product at Lowes/Home Depot to flush out the row

I had this to surface about two years ago and call the plummer. He unclogged the orifice outside the house. Someone told me I could have gone down to Home Depot and bought a product for doing that. Have you tried the product and be you pleased with results?

Answers:    If the sewage is support up really bad you may hold to call surrounded by somebody professional like "Roto Rooter" to un block the lines. I would not rely on only pouring something down the drain to solve the problem.
If it is in the queue outside the house, it is either tree roots or a collaped flash. Neither of these can be cured with chemicals.
You can find fiber pills at any GNC.
Main procession clogs dont react to solution drain openers to well some times you hold to use an auger. But its worth a try, I dont know what your plumber used discuss it with the individual at Home Depot.
No. It's got to be powered, even if it's a rod.
Just has this same problem this weekend. Nothing worse than a backed-up sewer.

My first thought be to call a plumber or Roto-Rooter - so I did. However, I needed to obtain it fixed quick and they be not going to be able to come out soon. So I established to see what to do on my own.

At Home Depot / Lowes, you can purchase a couple of different mechanical devices to remove blockage from a sewer flash - an auger or a clever little device called a pipe bladder.

Since the plug can be pretty some distance from the cleanout, you typically have to buy a long auger if i.e. your tool of choice. They can be pricey, the less expensive ones allow you to spin the auger bit beside a power drill, but I read that they tend to be under-powered.

I went near the pipe bladder. It is a rubber device that has a hookup on one extremity for a garden hose and a small hole on the other. You connect it to your garden hose, push it as far down the pipe (toward the blockage) as possible, and turn on the hose. The bladder will fill near water, seal off the pipe. When the bladder become too full, the front end of the bladder will start off to blast water at the blockage and should (hopefully!) eventually free it.

Note that it can pinch some time (several minutes) before the bladder is competent to blast through the blockage. Also, if it does not work the first time, pull it out and try it again. You must turn sour the water at the hose and lurk a minute or so for the bladder to deflate before you will be capable of pull it out.

In my travel case, my sewer was totally clogged on the outside of the house. Water wasn't even slowly draining - total block. Two tries of roughly 5 minutes each and the pipe bladder blew through it and adjectives the backed-up water contained by the basement go down like a huge flushing toilet.

They get rid of the pipe bladders in different sizes depending on where on earth your clog is. If you suspect that it is on the outside of your house, you will need the bladder for 4 - 6 inch pipes.

Best $18 I ever spent!

Good luck!
