This is something fun for the kids to do to help out. Make them out of clay. If the clay cracks while baking them, no big operation. Then your "bones" are just cracked. To formulate them a yellowy color for age, just put in a little bit of wan food coloring.
HOME-MADE SALT CLAY
You will need:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup saline
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup cooking grease
Food coloring
What to do:
Place the flour, salt and grease in a mixing bowl and stir next to a wooden spoon.
Combine water and food coloring after gradually attach the colored water to the flour mixture.
When you enjoy created things with the clay, you can boil them to harden the clay. Put the oven on low steam (300oF/150oC) and bake for 1-2 hours.
