4 sheets would do it when there 4x8 sheets
A standard sheet of plywood is 4' x 8', or 32 square feet. To cover 100 square feet, you need three full sheets, plus an extra four square feet.
Plywood is 4' X 8', so 4 sheets will cover a 10' X 10' room.
3 sheets of 4'X8'
one if the plywood is 10 X 10
two if 5 X10
See where I'm going How big are the plywood pieces ?????????
I built a OO/HO train set on two 10 X10 14ply pieces its very strong
Well sheet are usually in the standard 4' x 8' form, 3 across would leave 2'x 8' from one board left, and you need 2' more along the rest... so use that and one more partial board 2x4.
Total is 4!
But you can alwaysa ask at your local home center, but if it's a new floor, you have to measure the floor board that will support it. I'm assuming your covering over an existing one!
Don't forget to cut the sheet so that it ends on the middle of the 2x4 for nailing !! All the edges will need to be nailed and mark or follow all the 2x4's under your plywood. Or it will curl up later .You will need 3 sheets of plywood. :)
