I have a really big room and not enough furniture how do i fill i the space?
Answers:
Plants. Lots of plants.
But make sure you water them regularly because green is much more attractive than brown.

With music and dance.
Depends on what the room is used for. If it's a bed room or a living room type of area, I recommend lots of throw cushions and pillows (maybe bean bags) that can be spread out around the room. It will make it seem very friendly and informal..I love the plant idea, but mine would be all brown!
With lots of friends, of course! But if you MUST have stuff... try looking for interesting and unique things. Sculpture that you like and is good for conversation pieces, floor lamps, perhaps a few chairs for a sitting area and a card table to go with it?
I wish we had some open space in our house.
We are covered up with "debris".
Plants such as potted palms, ferns , ivy etc.Cheap WALMART, Lowe's, Home Depot- not only will fill emptiness of room but clean the air and aesthetically pleasing. Can also use large cushions for sitting, lounging areas esp. near Books, TV and Stereo areas or gaming area
you can use the space... if is a living room use one a folding screen that you can do easy with some lumber and some fabric and the back side you can use for an small office at home or with some lamp and a chair and many plants you can use some sculpture (many in fiberglass or if you have some additional money buy some interesting many times in place with old stuff you can find something good at very good price if you don't have the money looking in some garage sale sometimes you can find many interesting things there for a fraction of the cost.
put in a bar or a big screen tv. i put a bondage chair in one of my big rooms, you know, the thing with the handcuffs and restraints and ways to manipulate the limb positions of the restrainee. go with leather that has a soft side. the regular stuff tends to leave bruises on wrists and ankles.
If you have small children, leave it empty. My kids love the empty spaces - perfect for gymnastics, dancing, crafts, homework, slumber parties, etc.
Move the furniture you do have to one specific area of the room so you're not having conversations across a huge expanse of room, leave the other end of the room open for play.
