My tent (impossible to assemble)has a tag sewed in that provides helpful (but not complete) instructions. Have you gone over every square inch of the fabric? You may get lucky and find such a tag.
If you know the manufacturer, browse for similar models and maybe you'll dig up a PDF of an owners manual for a tent close to yours.
