Difference between wall tile and floor tile? I own some smaller wall tiles I'd close to to use a floor border
Answers: Wall tiles are not intended for the usage of floor tiles and are usually thinner, and if they feel like thickness they will be of a things that will break easier.
On a border, you might get away near it because not as much traffic but even a chair leg might impose a softer tile to break.
If you have tiles you want to use up, perhpas put them on the wall as a mop board or floor trim? I own seen this done and it can look awfully nice.
Wall tile is usually not strong enough to be walk on. Also tends to be more slippery when raining. Take one to a tile store and ask if it can be used in a floor border. You may enjoy height differences too since the tile solidity might be different. See what a tile store or tile installer would suggest.
The steward is right, wall tiles are much thinner and will break easily underfoot, singular use them in the terrifically edges, and they are more slippery, wet or dry.
