What are differences between wood circlw saw and metal circle saw and can I use a handy mini one for 2 purpose

I have a mini metal handy circle saw that I've get a stand for it and use it as a slide saw for metal profiles but i was thinking in the region of obtaining a mini wood blade for it and use it as a mobile slide saw for wood too......i am afraid give or take a few its rotation speed which may not be appropriate for wood !


Answers:    The difference is in the BLADES used to cut the different materials. One is for wood, the other is for things approaching cinder blocks, or things containing masonry or concrete.

as pathfinder said its all contained by the blade the speed really doesnt affect the cutting propensity of the saw
You can use the saw for both, saws that cut one and only metal usually turn faster then wood saw.
So using a wood saw with a metal blade wont hurt a article, the metal cutting blade will be turning slower than it's intended speed and at hand will be no problem.
There are metal cutting blades, and masonry adjectives blades available for most circular saws, they are different so be paid sure you get the right one.
