Is it nontoxic to use a flexible metal exhause hose for a gas dryer? The nouns doesn't look airtight.?

I bought a flexible metal exhause hose from home depot for my new gas dryer. However, the connections to the dryer and the pipe (that go outside the house) are just snap-ons. Given that at hand is carbon monoxide in the exhaust, how undamaging is it to use this? The label say that the hose is to be used for gas or electric dryers. Has anybody used this hose for their gas dryer before?

Thanks.

Answers:    you will be fine. you might want to see if you can find hose clamps to use on the duct instead. they will clear a tighter connection and if you hold to take the duct bad to clean out the lint it will probably be easier to work beside.
I use the same type of hose on my gas dryer and hold never had a problem.
