This is an averaged sized apartment (18 apts.) The furnace is off still and it's 47 out nearby. It looks like someone simply flipped switches, that look resembling lightswitches off on the outside of the furnace. Whoever did that, i'll bet did that because it be 90 out, with them on full blast final summer? Landlord is probably off on leave, should these switches be flipped up, and thats it? or then the furnaces necessitate to be sparked? I never saw those switches down before July, when so abundant people bi*chen almost why the heat be on full blast. (those are next to laundry) If flipping those switches down is the agency to turn off the furnace, how does it turn vertebrae on?
Answers: If it isn't your building, I wouldn't mess with it. You'd detest for something to go wrong and to be held responsible for it --especially beside a system that large.
That said, most residential heating/cooling systems hold switches that control the power to the blower. That sounds like what you're describing.
I'd not resembling to add my own personal disclaimer contained by which I'll repeat my suggestion that you not mess with it.
