Homemade solution to assassinate hornets, that I can mix surrounded by my pump up sprayer.I necessitate long wand to bring to nest.?
Answers: Clorox (undiluted), WD 40 or Windex.
Seriously. (Kills scorpions too.)
The only point I've ever heard of massacre hornets is gasoline. And I've also been told you should single attempt it at night when they are not stirring.
gasoline is flamable, don't use that you'll burn the place down!!!
go to a paint store or hardware store and take some hornet be gone spray cans for below 5 dollars each...they shoot 20 foot and kill them comatose...i use them all the time when i own to .
For 2 bucks you can get a spray can that will squirt a stream 20 foot into a nest. It is filled near a chemical that will drop flying wasps down to the ground and kill every wasp and egg contained by the nest. Why improvise when this way is guaranteed to achieve results?
I tried rose dust and it worked great, not intended for them but they track it in and that's that. you can dust the nouns outside the nest, after dusk, the next time there gone!
Read supportively before using.
Homemade? Raid's hornet spray will massacre the hornets and the nest for a while ($4.00). If you are concerned about the environment, later I would go near the Clorox or Windex but I dunno how effective they are and besides, Clorox is really not that great around plants and the Ammonia surrounded by the windex maybe disadvantageous too.
you can't get close ample & enough spray volume on the critters past they nail you.
use a hose expire sprayer with any cheap laundry soap ( works best & cheap), or dishwashing liquid, set on any article above 2 oz, it will knock them down keep spraying, & drown them, & endow with you volume, & distance, great for fire ants too
You want to look for an insecticide that has Cypermethrin within it to knock them out quick. Go to the garden factor of the supercenter and read labels on bottled stuff and within should be something there. Put it surrounded by your sprayer and wait until impulsive evening when they are quiet and within the nest. Wear long sleeves and a hat and you should be fine. If you keep on until dusk, they are less promising to find you.
Forget the Clorox, etc--that just make them wet and cranky.
suspend a bag of moth ball close the the nest as possible they don't like it and won't stay around deeply long
