what are the other importance of using flour sifter?
Answers:
I use a flour sifter to mix my dry ingrediants (flour, baking powder/soda, salt) into my wet ingrediants. It also helps break down the lumps...hmmmm too bad there isn't one big enough to use on certain men!lol

So you dont get lumps in the flour, when the "skullery maids" make us a loaf of bread!
Or, even lumps in the cake...

It gets all the clumps out so you have a smooth dough and don't get pockets of flour.
I always use a hand strainer anyway. It seems to work just as well.
And the strainer has multiple uses. You can get one at Wal Mart.
