Where is the coil location on the a/c.?
Answers:
Coil? Or did they say evaporator or condenser? They both look like radiators. They both have fins that can accumulate debris. This causes a loss of airflow and effects the operation of the unit. And unless you are more specific, I can't help you any further.

need more info...house a/c with compressor outside? window a/c? car a/c? in any case the coil would be located adjacent to the fan,, and it should be clean so the hot air can transfer off successfully..

home a/c or vehicle a/c? you have two coils on either system... one inside and one outside.... the outside fan blows through the outside one, and the inside fan blows through the one on the inside.... they are basically just like a radiator you would see on your car... lots of time dust gets trapped in these... i would recommend compressed air to blow these out....
I'm sure it's probably the exterior one. If it's in a car, it's right in front of the radiator. Go to a car wash and use a power washer from the inside of the hood out and blast forward through the radiator. If it's in a home unit, then try to clean it out as well as possible.
They probably met the "A" coil, which is located inside your furnace. The best way to do this is to call in a duct cleaning service, it would be difficult to do this yourself. If they meant the condensing coil, turn of the system and take the garden hose to it.
there are two coils one is out side the other is in side inside is down stream of the heat access it through the duct and vacuum will usually work on that the out side coil spray it with water hose till water will spray trough it and you cant see any more dirt
I have something on my air conditioner that looks like a car coil. If that is what you need: It's behind one of the covers on the outside air conditioner. If that isn't what you need. Then it's what the other people said.
