do i need insulation between the wall and liner of my above ground pool?

I have been told by some that i need this other's have said that it doesnt do any good

Answers:
Actually, you dont need it.

Your not going to lose "heat" to the liner. You will lose it to the atmosphere, more than anything...

Just get yourself a "solar heater", (which is nothing more than colored bubble wrap, that collects the heat, and transfers it to the water).

So, save your money on that part...

I wish you well..

Other answers:
It isn't necessary. However, it does pad the walls and help heat dissipation through the pool structure itself. Choice is yours. It has advantages, but weigh them against the cost before making a decision.
