Can I mix sawdust and flour to manufacture wood putty?
Answers: Sawdust and glue is better since the flour may tend to disintegrate or crack.
I don't infer that will work...but why would you want to make wood putty when you can buy a product call Plastic Wood for around 3or4 dollars a can
You can but it is not a good long durable product. The flour will be consumed over time by microorganisms and the adhesive effect of flour will be lost. Original wood glue, made from milk solids had like peas in a pod problem.
You can mix the sawdust and a wood glue to brand name the putty and use it up. If the dust is from the same wood, colors contest fairly all right BUT stains will not color the sawdust / glue parts because the cement will seal it rotten.
Yes-
( But I would only use it for small holes. )
