Steel framing studs vs. wood?

For my basement price sage which are cheaper and which is easier to work with

Answers:    Um did you ask a underground store finishing Q not long ago today?

I suggested galv. Steel studs for the basement; if within fact that be your Q.

Certainly they are a standard commercially. I use them all the time; but appreciably others who answer state wood. I do use wood also, I just guess the quality of most stud fabric sold lately is garbage, and if you happen to live in Hurricane Gulf as I do; you'd foot through the nose IF you could find any surrounded by season. Anyway... just one folks opinion.

The steel studs are no smaller number effective; as strong; don't strictly closing any less time than wood; are uncomplicated enough to drywall; are lighter contained by weight.

In any travel case Q & A is as much about personal opinion as it is about resolutions.

Price? Hmm confident enough to find out at any Lowes or HD. The issue next to any construction material; the reality that we are BUILD crazy; the availability of quality materials; creates a open market where price differences are smallest.
