I had the same problem, and had to replace the carpet. There's no way to properly clean it.
Isn't it interesting, that vinegar and water will clean carpets, hardwood floors... and your va-jayjay!
hey agrippa... never had this problem but i have seen questions here before about it... some people had some good ideas but most said the carpet would have to be replaced.. sorry... hope your still having fun on here... i havent had time to breathe for like weeks lol take care
Hydrogen Peroxide.....lots of it I'd guess!
TAKE IT OUT AND BURN IT. THEN BUY NEW CARPET.
You might try to take it to car wash and spray it out but It probably easiest just to take the carpet out and get new carpet . If you leave that carpet in I m afraid it might get smelly
Hey dere Ag. I gottcha covered. I usta have dis problem all da time wit dem deers an, uh, dem woodchucks an such tings dat I was huntin. Den Joey from Detroit tol me how ta handle it.

First, yer blood's probably dried by now, but dats ok, even if its already black, this'll still work for ya. Put lots and lots a water on it an let it soak and get wet good. Den ya use a good strong wet and dry vac to vac up all dat slushy blood. Keep puttin more water on it and vacin it up until ya got as much of it up as ya can wit da vac.

Now, here's what Joey showed me an he's a real genius. While da rug is still wet ya put meat tenderizer on it! Lots a meat tenderizer. Ya really pour it on dere. Den take a scrub brush and work it inta da rug real good. Let dat set an hour an den add a lot a water an vac it up again.

Ya keep doin dat wit the meat tenderizer until all da stain is gone. An dat's dat.

Ya know tho dat if ya accidentally spill some of dat dere luminol stuff on dere an den if ya put a uv light on it, like if ya go ta a party where days got a uv light or somethin dat dat blood stain will glow. Ya can't clean it good enough ta not glow if ya spill dat luminol on dere, so be sure ya don't let nobody spill no luminol on dat, if ya know what I mean.

Joey was just here visitin his family but he had to hurry back to Detroit on account of somebody complainin about some job he done back in 1975. Joey guarantees his work forever, so, ya know how good he is.

Did ya every notice how hard it is ta describe somethin to somebody when dey can't see yer hands?

Well, dat meat tenderizer will work for ya, but be careful about dat luminol stuff.
Silly, you should have put a tarp down first. But since you didn't, try cat urine, that works. The only problem with that is well, you're a cat, you should know. Then to get rid of the cats you should spray on some dog urine. But then you will have dogs hanging around. To get rid of the dogs spray around some gorilla urine but then you will have... oh, never mind. Try some oxy clean. :)
first of all...i always told you USE A TARP!

ok...take the car to the valley...i'll give you the address...there's a guy...you'll call him "The Wolf" that's "Mr. Wolf" to you...
Give the police a call and explain your problem to the homicide detectives. They'l probably volunteer come on out to see how bad the mess is, and maybe help!
Beautiful question, what a beautiful question! I love it. I really do. Just put three or four coats of lacquer in there.
You can have shinny red carpet forever.

I also like the category you put this question in!
You had better burn the entire car. Today's forensic science can nail you with a single hair or blood cell. Burning the car is the only way to destroy the evidence.

Oh, wait. You said 'deer' not 'dear'. My mistake.
Call the LBSHL.(large blood stain hot line) and explain your situation to them. Their number is 911.

Oh yes, Don't drop the soap!
Try soapy water--dish soap should work.

It worked for me when there was blood on my carpet.

After you do that you might want to use a carpet cleaner with and attachment to suck out any residual.

Next time you hunt you might want to keep plastic in the trunk.

Dead "deer" in air quotes *wink wink nudge nudge* - then it might be time to call in "The Cleaner" from La Femme Nikita.
I have heard club soda gets it out the best. I am not answering how I know. I plead the 5th.
