After instlling a woodheater with blower in my fireplace I'm getting smoke blowback.?
Answers:
It's installed improperly. Goto woodheat.org or hearth.com to research this kind of connection. The right way is to have a propery sized chimney liner installed from the stove to the top of the chimney. and seal between the new chimney liner and the opening in the old firebox usually where the damper would be. Many of the damper openings are standard sizes and kits are made to seal that opening and connect your chimney liner. YOu are not getting the proper draft for the woodheater.

I don't know about that specific kit, but make sure, the chimney is clear and the pipe is at the right height from the peak of the roof. We had a "boil over" because the house sat too high (on the lot) and we had to install a special cap.
