Why is it sometimes you feel unconfident?

My Mothers mantra - nobody can make you feel bad about yourself unless you let them (by believing the other person) Get to know yourself, you can't be confident in every situation but you can be the best you can be which gives you confidence. Allow yourself to get things wrong, but don't allow yourself to not try. Read 'feel the fear and do it anyway' and trust yourself!!

you just have to believe in your self and overcome fear or whatever might prevent you from being unconfident!
unconfident is familier for all of us. sth, somewhere, sb, or sometimes you may feel not very confident , this is because you did't do or to be or contact before. that's natural, everyone have had experience. the first time you confront thing, person especially high rank than you, may be somewhat nervous. but second time or third you'll be ease. do't worry about that.
It is natural but there are ways around it. If I think I will feel like that before I go somewhere, I just take lots of deep breaths. Tell myself I am ok. And think about anything I might have to do.
Do you have any hobbies? That is a good help too. Indulge in your favourite things. Nice things and the ability to do well are both confidence boosters.
It is not unusual to be shy sometimes. This can be as a result of genetics or past experiences that left a mark. The world can be a tough place. If you don't stand up for #1, then nobody else will. Also selff-confidence comes from achievement. Pick a topic or activity and become an expert at it and excelling will build self confidence.
Two main reasons:
- If you aren`t self motivated and more dependant on the outside than the inside and carng much about what people think of you, then lack of encouragement from those around you can easily damageyour self confidence. try to see why aren`t they happy with what you doand fix it.
-If you are self motivated, then the only thing that can damage your confidence is lack of achievements, or lack of plans to do an achievement. try to set simle and relativly easy goals, plan well how to get them and start applying your plan and you`d feel much better.
