How do I corrode and rust a file cabinet close to Geneive from Trading Spaces did within an episode a few years ago?

She did this in an episode tons years ago, she made parts of the cabinet like a toxic green color. I cogitate she used some sort of liquid solution that you can kind at home. It was cool and urban and I can't give the impression of being to find out how she did it. Please help, thank you.

Good luck!
I enjoy no idea how she did this, but I'll try to lend a hand.
In order to truly rust the cabinet, you'll have to remove the paint down to uncovered metal. It may then rust afterwards on its own, or...
I once rusted some punched-tin panels that I made by dipping them surrounded by muriatic acid. If you opt to do this, USE CARE! This stuff is VERY corrosive, and must be done outside as it will "eat" anything it comes in contact beside.
Barring that, I'd go to a paint store (one that sell paint exclusively) and the employees should know how to help you want on a faux-finish to achieve the look you want; moral luck!
Go to HGTV.com and look up episodes if you cannot find it that way type contained by their seach engine;
Fake rust metal or something to that. If all else fail look in Google below faux rust. There are cans of this yu can buy
