i bought liquid resin at the wal mart store (paint section) it can be bought by the quart or gallon (not sure about smaller containers). it is packaged with a hardener and must be mixed before use, instructions are included. i covered a mosaic tile piece my wife made and it came out really good for a first timer. good luck
