how do i make my own concrete brick pavers?

Answers:
Smiles,, I've done this on occasion.

Determine sizes,,,uniform or different. Make frames in wood,,,IE: 1 x 2 pine. Lay them out on a surface that you don't care about ground damage,,,,even the area to be covered, Mix and pour the concrete mix into the forms, allow drying/curing, Tap gently after, or construct the frames for easy disassembly, place the pavers in a configuration you've planned. ENJOY... Fill voids with sand, dirt, river rock, etc.

You can also texture the pavers in many ways, by hand swirling, a round sponge, a stiff brush, etc etc etc

Other answers:
You need sand, cement and a fine stone aggregate. As ever1wolf said you can make your own shapes so long as they fit together.. You can get "tessalating" shapes probably from the internet and you could come up with a great and imaginative design.
The thickness of the pavers should be about 2" or 50mm deep.
Mix the sand, cement and aggregate in a ratio of about 4;2;1 and use water sparingly.. If the pavers are too runny they will not be very good.
You can buy cement colour powders to add to the concrete which again you can chose yourself.
Once you have put the mix in the wooden moulds you should "vibrate" them to get rid of air and to compact them properly.
An orbital sander is very good for this but do not use for too long time as you will seperate out the sand, cement, water and aggregate.
You can lay these on compacted sand bases, or screed which is a fairly dry mix of sand and cement. Then brush over sand cement dry mix to fill the joints.
