Answers: The tank dampen level have nothing to do beside the level surrounded by the bowl. The bowl has a built-in trap (just close to under a sink) and will single hold a certain amount of hose. Any excess will flow into the sewer pipes. Two things to check. remove the lid to the tank. There should be a small hose from the fill-valve that go into the overflow pipe. make sure it is directing river into the overflow but not down inside the tube. Most have a clip to hold them above the tube. all right, there are different types of toilets... very well, the internal mechanisms are a bit different although they all do duplicate job. here is a plunger valve that will usually own an arm with a type of float at the bring to a close. once the water stratum is at a certain point, that float will hoist up and stop the water from innards the tank. usually you can screw that float farther out of closer contained by on the arm. that will adjust the amount of water the container. hope that helps.

If you can't live near the water smooth in the bowl you'll hold to change toilets. No adjustment on the rank. The amount used during a flush can be adjusted to some level by the float level setting within the reservoir.
