I want to mount a picture on a flat bit of timber, what do I use ?

You have 2 choices as to what you use to "clearcoat" the pic. You can use a spray like lacquer or a heavier top coat like clear acrylic or an epoxy resin product. You should find out from your local paint store what is best for putting over a photo as there are different chemicals that will make the picture blister.

It can be a bit more difficult that it looks. First what condition is the wood in. Is it dryed? is it smooth or porous? what type of picture, thick paper or news print. all these factors play a role in this process.
