Removing paint from drywall.?

Whats the best way?
Or is it easier newly to replace the drywall?

Answers:    Buy some3/8 drywall and turn over the old crap.Glue it and screw it.Tape it,mud it,sand it and be done near it.
I got to ask... Why would you want to remove paint from drywall????
Just paint over it! If the color you know enjoy is very impolite (bright or dark) use primer and than put on a coat of what will make you beaming

Why can't you just paint over it? Is the dryrock textured? And I didn't know they have drywall in 75 year older houses. Are you sure that it's drywall? Maybe it's asbestos.
Dry wall is cheap.One always learn more from what is behind it,or the deficit therof.
Piece of mind is priceless.
just enjoy it skim coated with drywall mud, if you can't do it a professional drywall hanger can do it, the walls will come out resembling new and can be done contained by a few days
