What is the best opening to block knit items made near man-made fibers?

Answers:    Look at the care instructions on the strand to see what you can do and check out the link below. It have several different options for blocking.

They suggest Wet Blocking tho for man made fibers:

Wet Blocking

Wet blocking knit is an appropriate method for blocking man-made fibers, novelty yarn (except for some very straitlaced novelties that may topple apart when wet—check the label for supervision instructions and don't wet anything that say it shouldn't be wet) and some wools and wool blends if done carefully (remember warmness and agitation can cause wool to felt).

Dampen the knit piece so that it is wet but not dripping.

Spread the piece out on a towel, sheet or verbs garbage daypack (the bag won't involve water, allowing the piece to dry faster) on the floor or a spare bed where on earth it can sit undisturbed long adequate to dry.

Gently stretch the piece as needed to meet your blocking goal. If you're trying to get a piece to the size or shape the shape recommended, you might need a ruler, cassette measure or courtyard stick to help you out.

Use rust-proof safekeeping pins, straight pins or T-pins to hold the knitted piece to the towel or sheet. As the piece dries, it will retain the shape that you give it.
