How do install a new dishwasher at home? The cost to install by professional is too much for me.?
Answers:
Easy. There are two 'clips' that screw into the underside of your countertop, which secure the dishwasher in place. Remove these screws. Then go under your sink and disconnect the dishwasher drain. It should be a flex-looking hose. While you're there, turn off the water supply to your dishwasher and disconnect the line. Once all this is done, pull your old dishwasher out of the cabinet part way, enough to get your hand behind it and disconnect the power. Should be a simple wall plug, seeing as your house is newer. Then finish removing the old unit. Set your new dishwasher in place and reconnect everything in reverse order.
Most dishwasher units are standard size (height and width), but check the dimensions of your opening to the new dishwasher you want to buy to make sure it will fit. Otherwise, you'll be in for additional fitting.

No offense and not knowing your abilities I ask,,,
Do you have the skills?
The knowledge?
The tools?
The motivation?
You'd need carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills to begin.
The thought is that any money you believe you save, may be used up in any improper installation by one who is a DYI person.
I'd suggest, if you haven't purchased the appliance already, you should shop for one where installation is included, IE: HD/LOWES/Sears. Many are nominal charges, but follow codes and proper procedures in a warranty issue.
